Volunteers Needed – We need your help!

The continued development of this project is dependent on committed, enthusiastic volunteers with a wide skills set.   Each position is voluntary, ongoing and is able to be tailored to suit the time you can make available to this inspiring project:

Technical Support Specialists

Link your skills in agronomy or botany to the extensive international database of Food Plant Solutions and it’s a potent combination!  Work with members of the project team to develop technical resources on edible plants for countries with chronic malnutrition problems,  help develop materials and provide technical support. Formal qualifications in Agronomy, Agricultural Science or related disciplines are essential.

Technical Support Manager

Utilising your formal qualifications in Agronomy, Agricultural Science or related disciplines,  you will manage the Technical Team to develop resources for countries with chronic malnutrition problems.  Your eye for detail, strong communication and time management skills will ensure that resources are not  only accurate but delivered to those that need them most in a timely manner.

Webmaster

Are you an experienced webmaster with a flair for delivering messages that captures people’s attention? Do you have experience in hosting, web design and managment and creation of a Content Management System? If so, then we are eager to hear from you!

Sponsorship Coordinator

Proven success in seeking sponsorship? To ensure our sustainability we require major sponsors to support this innovative project and are seeking a results driven Sponsorship Coordinator.

Graphic Designer

Experienced in creating captivating messages? Members of our team are regularly invited to deliver presentations to local, national and international audiences. Utilise your skills to make each one, one to remember!

Promotional Coordinator

Marketing and communication your forte?  We require a dynamic and experienced Promotional Coordinator who can raise awareness about this innovative project locally, nationally and internationally.   A diverse approach will be required with aims including linking us in with other existing projects and organisations, expanding our supporter and volunteer base, increasing donations and helping to identify prospective sponsors.

Are your talents not reflected in the roles described above, but you would still like to be involved? Then talk to us about your skills and how you would like to assist.  The power of one, someone just like you, can indeed make a difference and we would welcome your contribution.
